Call summary
Innovate UK invites applications for its innovation feasibility studies, under the Faraday battery challenge. This supports UK businesses research and development of sustainable propulsion battery technologies for electric vehicles. Projects are expected to increase productivity, competitiveness and growth for UK businesses. The total budget is £25 million. Total costs for eligible projects can be between £100,000 and £750,000 for three to 12 months. Funding amount depends on the size of the organisation.

PI eligibility
UK registered businesses of any size may apply as project leader. Businesses may collaborate with either other UK registered businesses, academic institutions, charities, not for profits, public sector organisations or research and technology organisations. The project must intend to exploit the results and be carried out in the UK.
