Call summary
The Leverhulme Trust invites applications to its research leadership awards. These support researchers with established university careers who wish to build a research team of sufficient scale to address a distinct research problem. The aim is to create an opportunity for the development and demonstration of research leadership. Awards are worth between £800,000 and £1 million over a duration of four to five years. At least 75 per cent of funds must be used for research staff, including research assistants and postgraduate students.

PI eligibility
Applicants must have held a UK university post for at least two years but should not have developed their academic career such that the trajectory of their research contribution has become firmly established. Each institution is limited to one bid only.
