The Clean Hydrogen Joint Undertaking, under Horizon Europe, invites applications for its call HORIZON-JTI-CLEANH2-2022-01 renewable hydrogen production – 01-04, 01-05, 01-08, 01-10. This scheme supports research and innovation activities in the EU in clean hydrogen solutions and technologies, contributing to to the European climate neutrality goal by producing noticeable, quantifiable results towards the development and scaling up of hydrogen applications. The total programme budget is €121 million.

PI eligibility
Depending on the topic, proposals must take the form of research and innovation actions. Research and innovation actions require participation by at least three legal entities; each established in a different EU member state or Horizon Europe associated country. Participants from selected LMICs are automatically eligible for funding. Participants from other countries may participate at their own cost. For some topics, one partner in any consortium must be a member of either Hydrogen Europe or Hydrogen Europe Research.
