Call summary
Innovate UK invites applications for its biomedical catalyst – industry-led R&D call. These enable companies to develop innovative products, technologies and processes that is a solution to a health and healthcare challenge. The total budget is £15 million. Projects may last between six to 36 months. The projects total eligible costs must be between £150,000 and £4m. Funding is worth up to 70 per cent.

PI eligibility
UK registered micro or SMEs or businesses of any size may apply. However, only SMEs can work alone on projects and collaborations must include at least one UK registered SME. UK registered businesses of any size, academic institutions, charities, not-for-profits, public sector organisations and research and technology organisations may collaborate with the lead. The project lead must carry out all of the project work in the UK and intend to exploit the results from or in the UK.
